persepolis and catcher in the rye in the same boat..

hmm.. where to start, alright the fact that the book is a comic auto whatever is somewhat interesting and a nice change of pace. i for the most part enjoy the illustrations except for when i cant tell who is supposed to be who in a given picture. as far as the story itself, uhh i dont feel like it has very classic style plot, where there is rising action climax and falling, or the whole harry potter/lord of the rings story line. It simply seems like a book of the random events in her life that shape who she is, and i think that this book is very comparable to Catch in the rye.. And thats just how i feel

  1. I agree withyouon the fact that there isn't really any plot line in this book but i do think that it all flows together a lot better then Catcher in the Rye does. Other than the lack of a plot line or rising and falling action the books are different.

  2. That's a good point about there not really being a plot line to this story. I totally agree with that.
That is probably why I got kind of bored with the book near the end.
